Presto — Privacy Policy

Presto is a board-game tracker for you and your friends. This page explains
what data the app handles, where it lives, and what control you have. The short
version: we collect what the app needs to work, we don't sell anything, and you
can delete everything from inside the app.
What we collect
- Account: when you sign in with Apple we receive a stable
account identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name. You pick a
username (handle) and display name inside the app.
- Game data: the games, plays, scores, seasons and player
names you log. If you play in shared seasons, this data is visible to the
people in those seasons — that's the point of the app.
- Profile photo: stored on your device only. It is not
uploaded to our servers.
- Push tokens: if you allow notifications, we store your
device's push token so we can deliver them. Turning notifications off in
Settings removes it.
- Purchases: subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never
see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and keep
your Pro status in sync (they receive your account identifier and purchase
history, not your card).
- Usage analytics: anonymous, aggregate usage events (for
example "a game was logged") tied to a pseudonymous identifier, via PostHog.
No names, game titles you typed, scores or notes are included. You can turn
this off in Settings → Share anonymous usage stats.
Where it lives
Your synced data is stored with Supabase on servers in the United States.
Your device keeps a local copy so the app works offline.
What we don't do
- No ads, no ad tracking, no selling or renting your data.
- No reading your contacts, location, or anything outside the app.
- No sharing with third parties beyond the processors named above (Apple,
Supabase, RevenueCat, PostHog), each used only to run the app.
Your controls
- Delete your account: Settings → Delete account erases
your profile, friendships and memberships from our servers. Games you logged
in shared seasons remain with those seasons under a blank name, because other
people's histories reference them.
- Export: Settings → Export as CSV gives you your data.
- Analytics: opt out any time in Settings.
- Notifications: toggle off in Settings (or iOS Settings).
Children
Presto is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect
data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and the date above.
